Technician’s Note: This valve is directional and must be installed with the 1/4″ MFL side facing your gas source. The 1/4″ FFL side (swivel nut) typically threads directly onto your “Gas In” keg disconnect. Because this uses a mechanical spring, it requires a small amount of “cracking pressure” to open; if you experience zero gas flow after installation, verify the valve isn’t installed in reverse. We recommend using a Flare Washer (cone washer) on the MFL side to ensure a 100% gas-tight, metal-to-metal seal.
