The T&S Brass HG-4C-60G-SEL features an advanced Quick-Disconnect Valve (QDV) that combines a quick-disconnect and manual ball valve into a single, high-safety component. This 60″ connector provides the reach required for mobile cooking equipment while maintaining a standard 1/2″ NPT flow capacity. It features SwiveLink fittings to eliminate hose stress during movement and includes street elbows for versatile routing. The restraining cable kit is included to ensure code-compliant installation for mobile cooking equipment in industrial kitchens.
Technician’s Note: The QDV valve prevents gas from being turned on unless the hose is correctly connected, a major safety advantage in high-volume environments. During installation, ensure the QDV is oriented so the handle can be easily reached. Use the street elbows to create a direct hose path that minimizes tension on the internal braid.
