This Thick Wall Vinyl Beverage Tubing is engineered for professional draught beer and soda distribution. Featuring a 3/8″ internal diameter and an extra-thick wall (5/8″ OD), it provides superior insulation and high-pressure stability compared to standard tubing. The thick wall reduces “ballooning” under gas pressure and minimizes temperature fluctuations, ensuring a more consistent pour. Made from high-purity, food-grade PVC, it is flavor-neutral and NSF-certified for safe beverage contact.
Draft Balancing Tip: 3/8″ ID tubing has very low resistance. It is typically used for main trunk lines or high-volume transfers rather than individual tap lines. To ensure a 100% leak-proof seal on 3/8″ barbs, use a tube cutter for a square cut and secure with Oetiker stepless clamps. This tubing is flexible but should not be used for boiling liquids.
