Technician’s Note: Standard flexible tubing has a natural memory that causes it to kink when bent at sharp angles, which creates pockets for “beer stone” and bacteria to accumulate. This 90-degree stainless splicer solves that issue by providing a rigid, sanitary turn. When installing into 3/8″ ID tubing, we recommend using 15.7mm Oetiker Stepless Clamps. If the tubing is cold and difficult to seat, a quick dip in warm water will soften the line enough to slide it completely against the elbow’s shoulder for a permanent, leak-proof seal.
