Description

The Berner IDC12-2072E industrial series direct-drive air curtain helps maintain environmental separation and insect protection at busy foodservice entrances. Spanning 72 inches and driven by two 1/2 HP motors, it projects a uniform air stream that stabilizes interior temperatures and supports guest and staff comfort. Electric heat tempers incoming air to reduce drafts during frequent openings.

Mount it above kitchen service doors, receiving bays, or high-traffic back-of-house entrances up to 12 feet tall for environmental separation and up to 10 feet for insect control. The interior-mount configuration keeps the doorway clear to streamline traffic flow, preserve visibility, and reduce energy loss associated with open doors. Consistent direct-drive airflow supports smooth, predictable operation during peak periods.

Engineered for demanding environments, the unit features an aluminized steel housing with a powder-coated finish and an aluminum inlet screen.
