The Cornelius Probe Assembly Insert Mold is a critical replacement seal for commercial-grade Sanke keg couplers. This precision-molded component creates the primary liquid seal between the coupler probe and the keg valve (spear). A damaged or worn insert is the #1 cause of leaking beer at the coupler connection or “spraying” when a keg is tapped. Constructed from high-durability, food-safe rubber for long-term service in commercial bars.
Technician’s Maintenance Tip: These inserts can dry out or develop small nicks from debris. Always keep 5-10 of these in your service kit. Apply a tiny amount of food-grade silicone grease (Petrol-Gel) to the seal before installation to ensure a perfect, airtight seat and to prevent the rubber from bonding to the keg valve during use.
