The Batter King 9 has a unique 2″ clearance between the element and bottom of the fryer for excess batter to fall into and this helps prolong your cooking oil pot life. Designed for flowerin’ onions and french fries or any other foods that contain a lot of moisture – oil depth is not over 8″. Cooking surface is 15.75″ x 15.75″.
Built in safety feature: All Gold Medal fryers have two thermostats. One thermostat works with the heat adjustment dial to control the working temperature of the oil. The other is a high limit shutdown thermostat that operates if the first thermostat should fail.
