The Lancer Insert Bin Thermoform is the primary sanitary lining for the 44-inch Sensation series ice bin. Manufactured from a single piece of vacuum-formed, food-safe plastic, it provides a seamless, non-porous reservoir that prevents melting ice-water from contacting the internal insulation or chassis frame.
Problem Solved: Prevents structural corrosion and mold growth by ensuring all moisture is directed into the drainage system. This part replaces inserts that have developed stress cracks from years of ice agitation, which can allow water to seep into the refrigeration cabinet.
Symptoms of Failure: Water leaking from the bottom of the machine (not through the drain), a persistent ‘musty’ smell that cleaning won’t fix, or visible cracks in the bin floor where the agitator bar mounts.
Technician’s Note: When installing the new insert, apply a generous bead of food-grade silicone around the agitator shaft seal and the drain flange. Any bypass at these two points will result in a difficult-to-trace leak that can ruin the unit’s insulation.Technical Specifications:
