Technician’s Note: Continuous pressure vacuum breakers are required when a shut-off valve is used downstream of the breaker. Periodically check the atmospheric vent for debris to ensures proper operation. Use the internal stops to shut off water locally when servicing Eterna cartridges. During installation, ensure the unit is anchored firmly to structural wall members to handle manifold torque from pressurized hoses. Rough chrome finish is exceptionally resistant to mechanical impact. Always flush supply lines.
